The Greater Sydney Local Land Services Transition Catchment Action Plan

Background

The Hawkesbury-Nepean Catchment  Action Plan was approved by the Minister in July 2013. From July to December  2013 the HNCMA Strategic Planning Committee worked with adjacent CMAs to  facilitate the transition of the HN CAP to the new boundaries of the Local Land  Service regions. HNCMA has responsibility for development of a transition CAP for  the Greater Sydney Local Land Service (GSLLS) region. The development of this  transition NRM plan required transfer of the southern and western parts of the  Hawkesbury-Nepean catchment to other LLS regions and the incorporation of the  Central Coast region. HNCMA has also worked closely with the Gosford and Wyong  Councils and the Hunter Central Rivers CMA.

Guiding natural resource management in Greater Sydney region

The new Greater Sydney Local Land Service Transition CAP will be completed  for commencement of GSLLS operations in January 2014.

The 2013-2023 Greater Sydney  Local Land Service Transition CAP will provide important natural resource  management information for the new Greater Sydney LLS region and provide the  NRM component of future Local Land Service Strategic Plans.
