About Floating Landcare
Floating Landcare volunteers visit boat access only locations along the Hawkesbury River and in the Pittwater to help restore the local environment.
Activities include bush regeneration, litter collection, planting and simple flora and fauna surveys.
Volunteers get to learn new skills, meet like-minded people and make a difference to their local environment while exploring places that normally have limited access.
Floating Landcare is a project coordinated by Greater Sydney Local Land Services, in partnership with Northern Beaches, Hornsby and Central Coast Councils, and National Parks and Wildlife Service, with funding from Landcare Australia.
